Service client unavailable and External Applications gave errors.

Due to misconfiguration in the load balancers all requests from the service client and external apps / integrations was in the period 9:30 PM to 11:24 PM redirected to an invalid endpoint .
This gave a message;"Something went wrong" in the service client and a varied messages in external applications depending on which application.
The issue was corrected as soon as the problem was identified.
